Luke Hawkins is Diocesan Youth Officer for Meath and Kildare and Chaplain of Wilson’s Hospital School.

Luke holds a degree in History from the University of Cambridge, and a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education from Manchester Metropolitan University.

For seven years he was a History teacher in Liverpool and worked with young people in the Toxteth area of the city through his Church.

Luke and his wife Esther live near Mullingar. They have adapted quickly to Westmeath life and already have three hens and a cat!

In his spare time Luke enjoys walking, cycling, reading, writing and computer games.
