Bishop Pat Storey has announced the appointment of Revd Philip Heak as the new Rural Dean for Kildare.

Philip is rector of Naas Union of parishes. Bishop Storey said, “We wish Philip well as he takes up his new responsibilities, in addition to being rector of Naas Union of parishes.”

Rural Deans are appointed by the Bishop to assist in the regional oversight (including, but not exclusively) of property within the Diocese.
