 A series of Advent Reflections will take place at the Church of Ireland Theological Institute

  • Monday 30th November, Bishop Ken Clarke, (Director of SAMS) will give a personal take on “The message of Advent” .
  • Monday 7th December, will see Bishop Pat Storey, (Bishop of Meath and Kildare) give her understanding of Advent and its message for us today.

All are welcome to attend these Advent reflections.

Kick off: 7pm. Final Whistle: 9pm. Refreshments served.

The Lay Training Department would also wish to notify readers that we are currently working on an exciting series of evening seminars focussing on “Faith and Politics” for early 2016. With a General Election looming in 2016, the Institute will host four political parties/themes across four evenings. Each evening of the “Faith and Politics” series will allow for political input and theological reflection (led by Rev Canon Patrick Comerford). We hope for a fantastic level of engagement, do put the dates in your diary!! (Speakers being confirmed).

Faith and Politics dates: Monday 25th January 2016. Monday 1st February. Monday 8th February.

Monday 15th February. Venue: Church of Ireland Theological Institute, Braemor Park, Churchtown.
