Bishop Pat Storey expresses condolences to victims of Tunisia shooting

The Church of Ireland Bishop of Meath and Kildare has expressed condolences to all those who have been caught up in the hotel shootings in Tunisia.

Bishop Pat Storey said “On behalf of the Church of Ireland community in my diocese I wish to express our shock as news of the terrible events in Tunisia become clearer. Our diocesan family will hold the families of the bereaved and injured in our prayers”. She continued, “We feel this loss all the more keenly as it appears some of the victims are from our own locality. Our thoughts and prayers are with those, especially our neighbours, who have been plunged into such pain and distress by this cruel attack on human life”.
