Rev Hazel Scully has retired as School Chaplain of Wilson’s Hospital School. She retired from the post at the end of February 2016, having been Chaplain for over ten years.

The occasion was marked on Monday 22nd February. Bishop Pat Storey presided and preached at a communion service in the school Chapel. Following this a special dinner was held. This was attended by Hazel’s friends and family, members of the school Board and clergy gathered from the school, the local community, local parishes, neighbouring parishes and further afield.

Speakers at the dinner spoke of Hazel’s dedication, warmth and hard work during her time as Chaplain in Wilson’s. It was a very special event. Appreciation was expressed for all of her work and every one wished her good health and happiness in the next phase of her life.
