World Day of Prayer

The purpose of the Annual World Day of Prayer is to promote prayerful living and worship for men, women and young people and helping raise awareness of the lives and concerns of others throughout the world, especially those who write the service.

The World Day of Prayer is a women led, global, ecumenical movement.

Written by women from Taiwan, the theme for this year is ‘I have heard about your faith’ (Ephesians 1:v15-19).  

Services in Meath are on Friday 3rd March at:
– St. Mary’s Church (of Ireland) Navan at 8pm
– Iona Hall, Bective Street, Kells at 7.30pm
– St. Mary’s Church Kentstown at 8.00pm
– Kilmessan Church at 8.00pm

There are also Services in Maynooth, Kill, Newbridge, Athy, Celbridge/Straffan, Athlone, Mullingar, Tullamore, Mountmellick, Kingscourt. Details are advertised locally.
